So, it's no surprise that Kiss the Girl's songs are regularly featured on numerous prime-time television shows, such as 90210, Odd Mom Out, The Mindy Project, Charmed and Ugly Betty, as well as in films, commercials and major movie trailers, such as Brand: Second Coming and Dr Seuss' The Lorax. The Kiss the Girl song, "Alive," won third place in the rock category in the international songwriting contest by Just Plain Folks, the largest independent songwriting competition in the world.
Their songs have received radio airplay in over 18 states and at least 9 foreign countries and are heard tens of thousands of times a year on internet radio.
Kiss the Girl previously toured the West Coast and traveled as far inland as Arizona, headlining venues such as the Hard Rock Cafe in Los Angeles. They are not currently performing live, devoting all of their time to producing new music tracks.
Kiss the Girl is comprised of two California artists - Robert Szeles (pronounced saylesh) and Jaimeson Durr. Szeles is a singer/songwriter/producer/guitarist, also acting as mix engineer on some tracks. Durr is an audio engineering wizard and accomplished lead guitarist. Andy Korn adds his considerable drumming talents to select tracks.
